Why boycott just BP? After the oil spill all major oil companies were asked by the US Government to give a copy of their safety plans... the plans were all but identical, even making the same reference to a species that doesn't live around the US and the name of a long deceased expert. As Imam Zaid Shakir said "The real finger of blame should be pointed at ourselves. We know the environmental, political, and social consequences of the oil-based civilization we have allowed to evolve. Yet we have done little to stop it." And this is not just about the 'oil addiction' in the US, but elsewhere too. My 2p. In peace, Rianne

I agree 100% - do you have a list of every BP branded station so we can make a conscious effort to avoid them?

I know of BP, Castrol, Arco, AM/PM - are there any others?

I only like watching to see what tasks they get assigned and how they handle it... don't really care about the actual participants. It surprises me everyday to learn how many CEO's like that one exist in the business world.

Nice post. Surprised to hear that someone actually watches Celebrity Apprentice though.

I had a disastrous executive job for 30 days a few years ago. The CEO's favorite line was "We're not going to be Web 2.0, we're Web 3.0!" He had a full time executive assistant who's primary jobs were to print out his email for him and clean up when his lap dog shat on the floor. You may be surprised to learn that the company did not set the world on fire.

MTV hasn't been in the music industry since 2000. When they released MTV James, MTV Hits, and then VH1 Soul those channels took the music videos and they kept pumping out reality TV. They saw the power of Real World and soon Celebreality that there was no turning back.
